Most popular video content genres in Europe 2023, by platform type

According to an early-2023 survey conducted in European countries, movies were the most popular content types on live TV channels, SVOD platforms, and ad-supported streaming services, with 57 percent, 81 percent, and 52 percent of respondents respectively. Entertainment shows were only among the top three genres on video sharing sites such as YouTube.
