In Portugal, the average price per square meter of housing for rent was 15.5 euros in December 2023. The Lisbon region registered the highest value at over 18 euros per month. In April 2024, average prices increased in all regions, amounting to a national average of more than 16 euros per square meter. By March 2025, the national average was 16.6 euros, while reaching 19.6 euros in the Lisbon region.
