While spending on infrastructure in the U.S. reached *** billion U.S. dollars that year, that figure amounted to ** billion U.S. dollars for Canada. Those values in Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina, the Latin American countries with the highest infrastructure investment levels, were also lower than in the United States.
