Podcasts have seen immense growth over the years. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, many new podcasts were produced. In 2020, over one million new podcasts were launched. Since then, the number of newly started podcasts decreased again year by year. In 2024, 193 million new podcasts appeared.
