In 2022, the mortality rate of lung cancer in Hungary was over 63 percent higher than across the rest of the European Union. Furthermore, the mortality rate in Poland was 35.6 percent higher than the rest of the EU. Malta and Sweden has the lowest rates compared to the rest of the bloc.
