In 2023, consumers in the United States spent on average 951 U.S. dollars on fees and admissions to entertainment events, concerts, sporting events, movie theaters, etc. The spending grew 14.2 percent compared to the previous year, however, between 2020 and 2021 these types of expenditures increased by 53.9 percent.
