When asked to express their attitude to the statement "Foods whose advertising is intended to appeal to children should be only allowed to contain a limited amount of sugar, fat, or salt," 74 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 in Germany agreed, with 33 percent agreeing completely and 41 percent agreeing to a certain extent. The share of agreeing respondents stood the lowest among the previously mentioned age group, while the highest amount of consumers who agreed stood among people aged 45 to 59, overall at around 91 percent.
