The most expensive announced project within the sustainable development goals (SDG) sector in developing countries in 2022 was the AES Binh Tuan Wind Farm Project in Vietnam. Renewable energy was also the sector with the highest amount of greenfield foreign direct development (FDI) projects in developing economies. On the other hand, projects within education had a substantially lower cost than within renewable energy.
