According to a survey conducted among South Korean Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud companies in 2023 , around 42.5 percent answered to use Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud services developed by foreign companies because of the flexibility it provided when entering foreign markets. The same survey found that most domestic SaaS cloud companies used foreignly developed base cloud services that year.
