In the obserrved period, sales of Scania fluctuated. In 2024, Scania sold over 96,400 trucks and 5,600 buses.
The sharp period of decline in vehicle sales during 2020 was in the midst of both the COVID-19 pandemic and global semiconductor shortages. It was not only Scania that suffered such losses as the number of cars sold worldwide suffered a decline during that same period.
