A notable drop in the ROE occurred in the first quarter of 2020 due to poor economic conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. After this sharp decline, the ROE stabilized in the following quarters. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the ROE of the banking industry stood at **** percent.
