Chinese luxury consumption abroad 2014-2024

In 2024, Chinese consumers spent a total of 423 billion yuan overseas on luxury goods. This represented a slight decrease of three percent from the previous year. Overseas luxury consumption by Chinese consumers has fallen behind their domestic luxury consumption since 2020.
