In the period 2017 to 2020, it was found that around 62 percent of Inuit males and 52 percent of Inuit females in Canada aged 12 years and older did not have a regular health care provider. In comparison, only 18 and 11 percent of non-indigenous males and females did not have a regular health care provider, respectively. This statistic shows the percentage of First Nations people living off reserve, Métis, Inuit and non-Indigenous people in Canada without a regular health care provider between 2017 and 2020, by gender.
