Benefits of eHealth for patients receiving geriatric rehabilitation worldwide 2022

According to a survey carried out in 2022, the vast majority of patients in geriatric rehabilitation programs reported exergames to be a more fun form of therapy. Exergames also had a higher share of improved confidence than any other forms of eHealth. Similarly, the users of robotics and virtual reality also found them as fun forms of therapy and attributed them to faster recovery. When it comes to increases in the treatment frequency, video consultation was the most preferred option by the patients.
