A study between September 30 and October 13, 2023, revealed a surge in the number of posts discriminating against Jewish people on X (formerly Twitter), representing a 919 percent week-over-week increase. The study, which was conducted a week before and a week after Hamas’ attack on Israel, also found there was a 28 percent week-over-week increase in anti-Semitic posts on Facebook.
