According to a survey among 568 mature cross-border e-commerce sellers from China, 17 percent of respondents reported to have established their business at TikTok Shop in the first quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, around 15 percent of respondents chose Temu as their new online marketplace. Both TikTok Shop and Temu have introduced a "semi-hosted" model within the first quarter of 2024, attracting many sellers to partner with them.
