In the third quarter of 2024, government consumption in Israel reached nearly 123 billion Israeli shekels. This accounts for a 21 percent increase over the same period in 2023. Following the start of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, 2023, government consumption in the country increased significantly to over 129 billion Israeli shekels in the fourth quarter of 2023.
