In the first quarter of 2024, investors made over one billion U.S. dollars in first-time investments in Israeli technology startup companies. In comparison, only 657 million U.S. dollars were invested as follow-on investments during the same quarter. Overall, during the observed period, venture capital investors showed a slight preference towards new investments versus follow-on investment.
