Annual share of migrant workers in farming in Israel 2013-2023
The monthly average share of foreign workers employed in the Israeli agriculture, during 2023, fell to just below 44 percent. This reflected a significant decline of two percentage points. The ratio of foreign to Israeli workers peaked in 2021, reaching nearly 47 percent. Between 2013 and 2022, the share of migrant workers in agriculture grew relatively consistent. This indicated a growing dependence on international labor migration.
