Before the start of the Israel-Hamas war, between September 10 and 29, 2023, businesses is Israel spent an average duration of 4.9 million minutes on landline calls per workday. In the week following the outbreak of war on October 7, the total average duration of business calls fell by about 35 percent. Between October 15 and November 7, 2023, outgoing call minutes gradually recovered to an average of 4.3 million. This reflects a drop in business activity at the start of the war.
