In a survey conducted in 10 Southeast Asian countries in 2025, the biggest concern respondents from several countries held about the impact of the Israel-Hamas conflict on ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) for 2025 was the diminishing trust in international law and rules based order. This response was particularly common in Indonesia, as it was chosen by ** percent of the country's survey participants. Another common concern held across many countries was the rise in extremist activities impacting domestic and regional security.

Results from respondents from Timor-Leste excluded in the aggregated averages as the country is not yet an ASEAN member state.
