Sweden: EVs in circulation by propulsion type and county 2023

In 2023, nearly 212,900 electric vehicles were registered in the Stockholm county of Sweden. Of these, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles were the most common type, at nearly 108,900 PHEVs in circulation. Stockholm had over double the EV fleet of Västra Götaland, the second county in the ranking.
