In the third quarter of 2024, the share of internet users who visited social media platforms to research brands and products they considered buying in the Asia-Pacific region was highest in Vietnam, at about 84 percent. Contrastingly, about 44 percent of the internet users in Japan visited social media platforms for the same purpose during that period.
