Importance of factors that influence consumer trust in companies in Ireland 2024
In a 2024 survey of consumers across 31 countries and territories, including Ireland, it was found that protecting customer data was the most important factor when it came to builiding trust in a company, both globally and in Ireland specifically. 84 percent of Irish consumers indicated that data protection was important to building trust, whereas only 47 percent of respondents in Ireland found a company's financial performance important.
