In 2024, the main motivation for employees to reskill and upskill at their workplace in the United States was to grow knowldege and skills for personal growth. Almost 40 percent of respondents stated this as their answer. 31 percent claimed that their motivation was to improve earning potential, whereas only 12 percent said it was to help to transition to a new career or field.
