As of 2023, Point of Sale (POS) transactions in Ghana reached a value of over 25.5 billion Ghanaian cedis, approximately 1.6 billion U.S. dollars. This increased from the previous year, when the total value amounted to around 18.3 billion Ghanaian cedis, roughly 1.2 billion U.S. dollars.
