In 2023, there was fierce competition among car insurance providers in England, Wales, and Scotland. More than ** percent of British households had car insurance from the top seven providers - including Admiral, Hastings Direct, and Aviva. In that year, *** percent of British households had car insurance from Admiral and **** percent were customers of either Hastings Direct or Aviva. The most popular car insurance in Great Britain was comprehensive car insurance.
