Sweden's total recycling rate for plastic packaging increased by three percentage points year-on-year in 2023, to ** percent. The government goal for total plastic packaging recycling by 2029 is ** percent.
The source FTI, Förpacknings Insamlingen, has since the report been discontinued and now Näringslivets Producentansvar (NPA) has taken over the business and responsibility for packaging production.
