Latin America and the Caribbean: cereal production volume 2023, by type and region

In 2023, corn was the most produced cereal in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a production volume of over 218.4 million metric tons. South America accounted for about 186 million metric tons of the total production.

Wheat ranked second in the region, with 28 million metric tons produced, followed by rice, with 26 million metric tons of production volume.
