During the first half of 2024, X recieved a total of 72,703 removal requests from governments. Overall, 46,648 of these were requested by the Japanese government, while 9,364 were requested by the Turkish government. Additionally, over 70 percent of requests resulted in data being disclosed to the relevant government entity.
