Entry paths into cybersecurity roles within companies in the EU 2024

In a 2024 survey, around 57 percent of companies in the EU stated that their cybersecurity employees started their current position by absorbing this role into an existing non-cybersecurity related role. Additionally, 34 percent were recruited from their previous non-cybersecurity role.
