According a survey carried out in the United States in 2024, over a third of patients reported being comfortable with the application of generative AI in taking notes during appointment to send follow-ups. Meanwhile, nearly 80 percent of the patients did not feel comfortable with AI for the purposes of providing medical advice, treatment plans, and prescriptions.
