In 2023, 74 percent of respondents in Germany stated that they believe that rising electricity prices could make the operating costs of electric cars too expensive compared to internal combustion engine vehicles. In contrast, 17 percent did not think the rising electricity costs had a siginficant impact on the operating costs of electric cars.
