As of June 2024, 70 out of 100 TikTok accounts followed by the majority of adults in the United States were of big online influencers. Entertainers, and other famous pop culture figures were the second most popular category for TikTok users in the U.S., as 25 of such accounts were followed by the largest share of U.S. adults. Nine of the TikTok profiles popular among the surveyed group belonged to industry experts.
