In 2023, the number of new vehicles sold in Africa was almost 1.05 million. This was slightly lower compared to the previous year, when around 1.08 million vehicles were sold on the continent. During the period under review, vehicle sales followed an overall declining trend, dropping yearly, except for 2021, when the market recovered from 2020 sales.
