Shufersal was the leading food retail company in Israel, holding over 30 percent of the market share in 2022. As of 2023, the firm generated an annual revenue of over 15 billion Israeli shekels, some four billion U.S. dollars. Rami Levi was second in the ranking, obtaining 14.5 percent of the grocery market. It was followed by Yeinot Bitan, with an almost ten percent share.
