China: attitudes towards marriage 2024| Statista

A 2024 survey in China found that 72.8 percent of respondents believed they must find the perfect partner before getting married, while 11.8 percent felt compelled to marry, even if their partner wasn't ideal. Meanwhile, 0.5 percent of respondents were strongly opposed to marriage and would not marry under any circumstances.
