In 2024, a significant portion of institutional investors in the Asia-Pacific region considered renewable energy and energy efficiency a priority in their investments and sustainable solution offerings. About 27 percent of institutional investors ranked renewable energy and energy efficiency among their top five priorities. Other key sustainability solution priorities for asset managers and owners included energy storage and battery technology, as well as climate adaptation.
