Number of books purchased in Portugal 2024

In Portugal, in 2024, among those who had purchased any book in the previous 12 months, the average number of books bought was 7.5. A share of 27 percent acquired five to nine books during the same period. This was the highest share recorded, followed by those who bought one to two books, namely 26 percent of the respondents.
