The user penetration of bike sharing services in Europe was forecast to be at its highest in Poland in 2024 at seven percent. The Netherlands, Croatia, and Slovenia all were expected to record user penetration rates of over five percent as well.

Data includes free-floating bike-sharing reservations, stationary bike-sharing reservations, and services such as nextbike, ofo, Mobike, and LimeBike. Peer-to-peer bike-sharing reservations, free bike-sharing services, such as Aarhus City Bikes, multi-day bike rental offers, discounts for customers with long-term subscriptions and other types of discounts, and electric scooter service providers are excluded.
