A survey from 2024 found that around 30 percent of U.S. women who had ever been pregnant, or given birth felt that their experience would have been improved if they had been better educated for labor and delivery. Around 22 percent also felt that their pregnancy/birth experiences would have been improved if they felt heard by their healthcare team.
