U.S. opinion on new laws that would ban TikTok 2024

In 2024, 33 percent of adults in the United States reported to have strong support for new legislation that would lead to a TikTok ban in the market. Support for banning the popular Chinese-owned social media platform experienced a decrease compared to 2023. In the year before, more U.S. adults favored such laws, as 37 percent of them stated to strongly advocate them.
