As of the sixth filing round which was held in 2024, 617 out of 1,392 large AI model filings in China were stand-alone websites. In total, the Chinese cybersecurity watchdog CAC has recorded 1,919 large AI model applications in seven filing rounds between June 2023 and August 2023.
