As of 2022, the prevalence of lifetime asthma among men in the U.S. aged 20 to 24 years was around 22 percent. In comparison, it was estimated that around 13 percent of boys aged 5 to 14 years had at some point in their life been told by a doctor or other health professional that they had asthma.
