Share of generative AI developers in China 2023, by salary

As of the end of 2023, around a third of staff working in the Chinese generative AI industry earned between 200,000 and 500,000 yuan per year. It was significantly higher than the average salary in Beijing. At the same time, around half of respondents had a working experience of one to three years in the GenAI industry.
