During a consumer survey conducted in May 2024, 73 percent of respondents between the ages of 18 and 29 said they found content created by influencers more interesting than advertising prepared by marketing professionals. In comparison, 33 percent of respondents, above the age of 60, expressed a similar attitude towards the two types of content creators.
