In a 2024 survey in Saudi Arabia, 64 percent of foreign nationals said that they spent more money during the month of Ramadan. The highest share of those who spent more during the month were aged 18 to 24 years old, at 64 percent. In the same survey, 61 percent said they look forward to shopping deals, special offers, and promotions during the month. Additionally, 46 percent delayed expensive purchases until Ramadan to avail better deals and discounts.
