In a 2024 survey, around 36 percent of respondents among IT and security professionals from organizations worldwide stated that their most desired outcome when implementing artificial intelligence in their security team was supplementing skills and knowledge gaps. Faster threat detection and improved productivity followed, each mentioned by 26 percent of respondents.
