State cybersecurity staff competency in the U.S. 2020-2024

Over the years from 2020 to 2024, state cybersecurity competency gaps generally decreased. If, in 2020 only around 28 percent of states had staff with required cybersecurity skills, by 2024 this number increased to 47 percent.
