Chinese consumers have demonstrated a strong interest in engaging in low-carbon practices. In a 2024 survey, nearly three-fourths of Chinese respondents reported that they consistently engaged in low-carbon practices and were eager to encourage their friends and family to participate as well.

More than 97 percent of respondents are under 50 years old, demonstrating a predominantly younger demographic. Furthermore, approximately 89 percent possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, indicating a well-educated group.
